Got a late start at 10:10 and made the summit three hours later. Quick easy hike with lots of great views and a very fast descent....only took 2 hours to get down. 16th 14er....38 to go

What a beautiful hike. I will be repeating this one. Nice easy dirt trial with nice views and the wildflowers were out. Was supposed to go with a friend who cancelled that morning. I was so
disappointed but I went alone and ended up having a wonderful solo climb. Met my husband at the Princeton Hot Springs afterwards. The day was saved after all!

4th summit of Nolan's 14. Started at 3:30 AM and hoping to go with Hans Dieter Weisshaar but he wasn't ready and said to go on, and Steve Simmons was several hours behind. Most of the other runners had already traversed Huron during the night but I wanted to do the tricky off-trail east basin descent into Cloises Lake in daylight and figured it would be better to sleep on the first night than the second. Beautiful views of the 3 Apostles from the summit. On to Missouri.

Route Climbed: Standard (from Winfield TH) Date Climbed: August 17th, 2002Very nice, easy hike. 2hrs/10min from TH to summit. Mother Nature was gracious, and the views were awesome from the summit.
