Hwangnyongsan Mountain Summit View

This was the only mountain where we actually hiked to the summit while we were in Korea. Our hosts drove us part-way up and parked, then we followed them on an easy hike to the nighttime outlooks they wanted to show us. Busan’s famous Gwangnam Bridge is probably the only structure identifiable in this night photo. Hwangnyongsan Mountain is quite popular with area residents, and people ascend to the summit by trail and by vehicle, both day and night.
