Dan, Good page, great photos. Too bad that there is NOT a on-line contact for the weather, but your inclusion of the Forest Service number is a great touch. You can always make a weather link of www.weather.com and include the zip code. Not too specific, but it helps.....You've been up on top, I saw your name in the summit Log...It would be great if you took a few minutes and wrote that day up as a Trip report. That would give everyone a better idea of what the Peak is all about !!!! Thank you for taking Time and Effort to Share your Knowledge and Experience and get all of the info on this page together. Everyone benefits from YOUR efforts !!!!!!
Another nice page that needs some photo management - there are 21 available, but few attached.
In edit mode, you will see an option to "attach / detach photos" for each section - click on this and an array of photos come up - toggle the check marks to attach or detach.
Also - another Downey vote that you should ask elf to delete
Both Cobb and Old Hyndman can be climbed from Big Basin but Hyndman does not border it. Hyndman sits above three unnamed basins and has been climbed from basically every direction, including its astounding north face.
Does anyone have any info about camping close, but not at the trailhead? The quad lists 'Hyndman Campground' but I have not heard any talk about it. Does it still exist?

Untitled CommentGood page; clear and concise. Could you ask your friends that you mention about conditions for winter climbing and post it? Thanks.
