Poetry Time...Green is the colour of her smile -
Shining down on fields, like an evil crocodile.
Red is the colour of the sand.
Her footprints long have faded,
And she's drowning on dry land.
Yellow is the colour of all hope.
As the sunlight warms our planet,
We will try our best to cope.
The glacier now has melted,
And the sea begins to rise.
We remove our heavy jackets,
And gaze at cloudless skies.
But, is it just a game,
And who do we believe???
When we cast the finger of blame,
Green is the colour up our sleeve.
