photo. We have some very large ones (3.5 inches or so) here of the same colour.
This one had to be all of that 3.5 inches.
Did you know the Mantis sometimes eats it's mate! Yeah, during the deed!
love this kind of pics.
You've got some cool pics of bugs too..
I really like the "Stinkbug"
This cute little guy can take a nice nip off your pinky. They even have been known to take down hummingbirds! Careful! ;-)
What is this ... everybody seems to be afraid
of Mister Mantis! To tell you the truth, I
find it a lot more scary to drive down
the freeway, especially I-5. The last time
I avoided it all together, and went through
Yakima over Chinook Pass. It was great, but
I didn't get any pictures. Which reminds me
of your pictures, Karl. They are wonderful!
Hey man, I'm just watching out for you! ;-)
This "cutie pie" has the figure of a greyhound and a mandible of a pitbull.
Good to know if your out cutting the roses....
I concede ... you're right, Tiger! I don't
have any roses to trim, but the Landlady
does. Mr. Mantis is truly an agressive
creature. It has to be, in order to survive
among the roses! : - )
& caption ain't bad either :)
I hope you don't mind, but i just did an album "Praying Mantis" and i added this photo okay?
btw, fantastic shot!
