About one hour before a 'hellacious' monsoon thunderstorm, a lone Palmer's
Agave blooms approximately 5 miles SE of Payson, Arizona.
Because the 'flower stalk' on these things is close to 20-feet tall, a
sudden breeze can make the stalk wobble back & forth like a flexible pole
made out of rubber.
"Weebles wobble, but they don't fall down!!"
The summit of 5,085 ft Stewart Peak is seen (to the left) in this picture.
