Visions of the Dream Walker

As seen from the Teacup Trail, the first of a series of Arizona storms leave snow on the highest elevations of Sedona, including Wilson Mountain.

In the foreground are the red rock behemoths of "The Sphinx" (left) and Cibola Mitten (right).

You can envision the precautions that must be taken when attempting to
climb a sandstone tower in these types of conditions.

Five feet of snow is predicted for Arizona mountains (above 6,500 ft) by
tomorrow.

Golly gee, guess it's time to dig those snowshoes out of the closet !!!

Nice one

I like this one Larry. Beautiful contrast between the foreground mountains and the snow-covered mountainside in the back. Cheers. Guido

Re: dang!

Thanks, Sir Radek !

They closed Oak Creek Canyon due to the snow.
I'm still trying to find a route up Mormon
Canyon to visit Earth Angel and Goliath.

Re: Visions of the Dream Walker

Thanks, but I still need shots of Earth Angel.

Hope I can get a few before I retire!
