Il Cervino, chiamato Matterhorn in tedesco. La parete nord guarda Zermatt in Svizzera, la parete est guarda il ghiacciaio del Gorner, la parete sud guarda Breuil-Cervinia in Italia e la parete ovest è rivolta verso il Dent d'Hérens.
