Mt. Goode's North Buttress route as viewed from the moraine below the route. Note the nifty cornices along the ridge, and avalanche debris in the foreground. From this vantage point the route is extremely foreshortened. The fourth pitch of this nine-pitch route ends atop the blocky tower just beneath the skyline. June 19, 2005.

Love the overlaid schematic!

What a cosmic route, not easily repeated, even with the benefit of barney- grip cams and other well placed protection. A fine picture too, by the way. 10/10
