Alpenglow on Smedberg Lake. There is a very good campsite on the near side (west side) of the lake, just left of the Pacific Crest Trail as it approaches the lake. (Note the blue tent.) Photo taken September 18, 2006.

It's pretty typical for an alpine lake in the Sierra Nevada. They are all quite beautiful! We had this one all to ourselves for a night... Thanks for your vote!
