In the register, we found the...

In the register, we found the entry of the county highpointing KING, Bob Packard. You've got to see this map that shows all of the county highpoints that Bob Packard has done. It is incredible. Click here. Those are no gimmes in the west with the likes of Rainier, Gannett, Grand Teton, Mt. Cleveland, No Palisade, etc and the difficult private property issues of the midwest and parts of California. Truly amazing and I've seen his entries in registers all over the west. Bob is 69 and still going strong. Inspiration for all us baby boomers. Also noteworthy in this pic is the comment by a local that he has done this peak 14 times. 6-26-04

Those poor kids in Arbon had to travel to either American Falls after 7th grade. That's around 50 miles one way, I believe.
