~ Velebit / South Velebit / Vaganski Vrh – Sveto Brdo group ~ Between Vaganski Vrh (1757m) and Sveto Brdo (1751m), in the magical winter landscape of Velebit. January 2006. Do not attempt this route in winter unless you are properly equipped and know the terrain well, especially where are the holes which are covered with snow then! Good forecast is essential! There is no escape route from here and you are exposed to the elements. Bura with cold, fog and brutal wind that it brings is most dangerous. Photo: Aleksandar Gospic
