Ended up in Indian Creek after the park closure forced us out of Yosemite. It took me a long painful while to begin leading some of the 5.9s there and succesfully toproping some 10s and 11s. Supercrack and Blue Gramma were my two favorite climbs. I hope to return very soon!
Learned (painfully) to crack climb here. Now I love it and use jamming everywhere! Looking forward to this fall.

first creek
Elspeth and I climbed something unnamed to the SE, between
supercrack buttress and newspaper rock; only 1 pitch, but what a pitch! I said "maaan! We have to come back!"
Being in the Creek is what makes being a climber great.

Awesome....
I made my 1st trip to IC back in early April of this year and was totally awestruck by the miles and miles of Windgate sandstone, incredible place. So many superb climbs that are “un-named” in the guidebook that would be 5-star classic anywhere else.

Greatest Cragging on Earth
It simply gets no better than the Creek. Always respect the rancher's properties and give some money to the Friends of Indian Creek group.
