Indian Peak and Ridge

Indian Peak and ridge from the Elk Mountain vicinity. If going to the Vermilion Peak area from the east, one must hike across Elk and Bilk Mountains to a point off the right of this photo, then hike right to left cross country across this ridge to Indian Peak before deciding on whether to cut across Snowslide Basin or go over Rocky Peak to Vermilion. July 2007 Sorry for the poor photo quality, but several large fires in the area were dumping a lot of smoke into the sky.
