Just throw in a minor blizzard to scare the tourons away.
Yeah, no tourons this day. We were the last ones on the mountain. Saw the others though back at Jack's when I devoured their hot open turkey/mashed potato dinner! :-)
I'll email you the movie I took from this spot with the camera. Some good wind action.
Now I know for certain you're a nut.
Ha ha. Yeah, imagine what would have happened to us a week later on this hunk of rock.
Yeah. That's right. cowlitz Tourons, that's a new one for me I like it.
I wonder who Jack knows to get a set up like that? cowlitz
Shoot we all are aren't we Aaron? cowlitz
Brian I haven't been following the recent eruptions as close lately. Was the area you mention affected by an eruption? cowlitz
No, this photo was about 7500 feet on Monitor Ridge. The eruptions are in the crater in the new lava dome. Or at least they were. I have not heard anything about it in a while but on clear days sometimes a puff of smoke can be seen.
Brian: I see , well I was curious about the comment about being there earlier, it sounded ominous. cowlitz
If it aint worth write'n home about,it probably wasn't much fun. cowlitz
Wish I could download the short movie I took with my camera. Poor Isaac was getting blown around there.
