Island Couloir

Taken from almost the very top, this shot looks to the right side of the couloir. The snow becomes a vertical wall here and is not safe to climb. The rocks pictured offer an alternate way out, but it doesn't look too easy that way. Fortunately, there is a much easier way to the left. Snowy Range, WY-- July 2007
