Went with wife and two boys and my good friend Jeremy and his family. Snagged some good photos on a nice clear day. Hope to return.
I've only ever been on the White Rim Road. Biked the whole thing back in May 2014. Doing it again in a few weeks!
Day trip. Took advantage of National Park no fee day. FREE! Hit the high points but didn't do anything remotely epic. Laid out the ground work for an in-depth trip next year.
Seriously, this place is a misanthrope's dream. Pretty as the Grand Canyon without the crowds. DO IT!
many trips for hiking, and some mountain biking. I love the Moab area and western Utah.
This was Eve's first time to Utah
Visited Island in the Sky on a very stormy day, threatening clouds, ominous clouds. I want to go back.
love this place!
A long, long time ago. Mike and I enjoyed a five day back pack trip from the top, along the white rim, camping along the river, back along the white rim, and return. Beautiful spring weather. Almost no people. Had to resort to CO River water and didn't get sick!
Lillian and I came back in spring of 1984 for car camping and day hiking along the plateau. Magical place!
Love everything, especially the views!
Hiked the Lathrop Canyon Trail and Road, explored various canyons, and drove Shafer Trail Road, Potash Road and part of White Rim Road. Need to go back again for more!
Spent a few days here in 1998 and visited several of the sites. Stayed in Moab and had a real good time with all there is to do in this area. Hope to go back someday.
All super fun routes.
Camped in Chesler park, Maze Overlook, Joint trail lots of hiking around all over in three or four trips in the 70's. Great place to develop a love for the desert.
My first introduction to the expansiveness and primeval qualities of southern Utah. My life hasn't been the same since.
Awesome area, will be returning again.

One of the most amazing sight that my eyes have beheld
It was nice and HOT for this midday hike. If you don't like heat, avoid hiking to the White Rim in July and August. I like the heat, so I did it August 10.
We've been here many times and have always enjoyed it. Took the mtn. bikes from the top of Shafer Trail (near the "neck") down to the river... what a ride!
