It had seen better days

I believe this was what was left of a once mighty Juniper tree, on the flanks of a peak in central Utah. It was the color of the wood that stopped me long enough to take a picture. (If this wasn't a juniper, I will welcome the correction) May 11 2008 on the way to the summit of Stevens BM.
