Great Shot !I like to see real climbing shots from the route like this - well done.
I'm pretty sure all the G peaks have been climbed, but maybe it is G5 that had the illegal ascent by an Italian woman in the 80s, that is disputed. I will check when I get home.

Re: Great Shot !G V - climbed by a Japanese party. Mukaide, Sato and Sakaguchi.
G VI - I have not heard about any ascents there and I was climbing with Vlada Skripko, who's number two in the Russian Climbing Federation. He had not heard about any ascents and he told me there had been a Russian recce this year. It's main objective was the unclimbed face of Masherbrum, but they had also looked G VI. Kosholenko will lead I guess.
That's all I know. Happy for any input on this.
Yes, one more thing - This site states G VI as unclimbed

Goose bumpsThanks Deb!
I was walking around with goose bumps day in and day out down there. A great area and lots of memorable moments.

For the recordObviously only the east peak of GV (7006m) was summited by the above mentioned Japanese team. The main (7147m) remains unclimbed.

I love this shotIt stirs up all kinds of emotions in me. It make me wish I was there, but I would have a difficult time with sensory overload! The views are breathtaking, the exposure exhilarating and sickening, and overwhelming feeling one gets in such an isolated area. What feelings did you have? Great job!

Re: I love this shotThanks for the nice words and input.
The feelings i had up there were the feelings of freedom and grandeur. I felt so small there looking down on the huge glaciers and up on the massive peaks. Whereever you looked, there were impressive things to look at.
Walking the ridge was great. A perfect combination of a little bit of danger, that made you take care and stay sharp, but it was easy enough to let you relax completely and enjoy everything around you.
