Was that the right direction for MOCKBA? There seems to be some snow up above though. Did you reach it?

I hoped for snow to be there, but had to settle for some hard frozen ice and a lot of scree :)

Thanks! I had a rugged but "optically challenged" camera, an Olympus point-and-shooter I picked for underwater photography on the Yukatan phase of our trip ... and it sure surprised how well some pictures turned out with as lame as camera as that one!
