Re: Is...I know that it is pretty close to the trailhead in Elkmont, and I was still on the gravel road portion of the trail when I took this shot.

Re: Is...Yep. That's where I figured it was. I did take video of that pool--it was in Winter and I was thinking of what a great place it would be to take a dip in hot weather.

Thanks for the kind words. Actually, if you like hiking along streams, there are miles and miles of scenes similar to this in the Smokies. This shot was taken less than 10 feet off the trail. Very easy to get to. I probably have several dozen similar shots posted on SP...check out my album Smoky Mountain Water or my TR, Road Prong Waterfalls...
