Jameos del Agua

Jameos del Agua is rather a difficult place to describe. It's basically an ancient lava tunnel refurbished by the local artist Cesar Manrique, with two large openings to the island surface and an underground lake (in the picture) where tiny white blind crabs live (a unique species, as far as I know!). Deserves a visit, that's for sure. October 2009
