I can imagine resting there and enjoying all the beauty of nature.
Oh yeah, on top of a mountain, and then with these views, that's the best place to be!
Beautiful view! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, and your welcome.
Grazie, ciao Rob
What a view... LOVE the boots and crampons. Puts everything in perspective - the ascent, and the forthcoming descent.
Thanks for sharing,
Glad you like it, but perhaps you got the wrong impression here. I was only looking in this direction, admiring these two big mountains, but I came from the other side, which is much easier. And after enjoying the view, I would turn around and go back the same way, at least for a few hundred meters.
As to the ridge below my boots, if I had carried a rope and would have been with a partner, it would have been an option, but without either it would be suicide!
striking, poetic, excellent - must plan for the andes
Absolutely, do come to the Andes! Well, not everbody perhaps, that might make it too crowded.
Not much chance for that on this summit though; for although it's a fine acclimatization climb, it's visited a whole lot less than the likes of Urus, Ishinca or Pisco.
