Jefferson Ravine

Jefferson Ravine from the summit of Mt. Adams. It has the distinction of being the only one of the big glacial cirques in the Presidential Range without direct trail access. It looks like awesome skiing terrain, however, if conditions are right! There are steep, uninterrupted snowfields from almost the summit of Jefferson, giving about 1700 vertical feet. March 15, 2009.
