Nice Trail To The Summit...
The Highpointers Club did an excellent job working together with the property owners to create such an enjoyable summit trail and helping keep this HP accessible to the public.
This was the fifth of seven HPs (plus Washington, D.C.) I would reach in two days' time. HP #29 for me.

Almost didn't make it...
After getting my butt kicked by Katahdin, I barely had the energy to make it up this beast. I dug down deep inside of myself, and somehow, found the courage and stamina to push on, and made it to the top.

HP #19 - dodged rain drops
Very nicely maintained gravel path. A cloudy day that threatened rain, but I was able to avoid getting wet.

Jerimoth Hill
Nice little path to the high point. I was a little confused by the other markers along the way. I was pleased that the current owners opened it up. High point #2.

GLAD THE NEW OWNERS ARE MORE ACCEPTING OF HIGHPOINTERS
While in Boston for work, pickup as many state HPs as possible!

Natives restless
I went on one of the open dates. I didn't see any times when the summit was open so I strolled in at about 7 am. It must've been too early because a guy followed me in his car when I left. I pulled over to see what he had to say to me, but he just kept going with a mean scowl on his face.

Before Red Tape
My daughter and I visited this during our highpoints quest in the mid 1980s -- it was ungated and unmarked back then, and there was not enough interest in highpoints to cause the access problems that came in the 1990s with increasing highpoint tourism! This was our 15th of my 49 state high points.

I know, I know...it gets old.
I visited this lovely spot on a rainy day. A big thank you to the Mosely's for the sweet trail to the big rock. I really liked that Great Laurel at the start.
