I give this one star because there are pictures of the mountain. No routes, no useful climing information offered. Does not help me choose a route, nor offer any information whatsoever as to the difficulty of the routes, or give any information at all. Does not describe how to get to the base of the mountain.
As I said on the page, I've never climbed it, but very few have. I think the links I've provided give ample detail on how to get to the base of the mountain. I'll tell you what, after you climb Jirishanca, why don't you adopt the page and share with us your remarkable insights.
Considering there is very little info available on this beautiful mountain, I think this page is done well. The only addition I recommend would be to incorporate some info from the "getting there" section of your excellent Yerupaja page.
When we went to attempt it in 2001 we only had a picture or two and an old AAC report. When we hit the guys up at the mountaineering club in Juarez for beta they laughed and said no one had climbed it in years so we should tell them about it when we got back.
Never got off the glacier due to partner's illness but just as well; the mountain was way over our heads and probably would have killed us.

Untitled CommentA little more info, similar to your other pages, and the page would be even better.

Nice oneBetter to have a page than not have a page at all. Would never have heard of this stunning and formidable mountain without it.
