Great day
A fun route, though I was exhausted from a multiday hike in the days before. So I didn't go on to the summit of the Dachstein, oh well...
The Adlerhorst area was great...just a vertical wall. :)

A great climb
Perfect weather, perfect day: doing together the Anna klettersteig, Johann klettersteig, and the Schulter ansteig that leads to the Dachstein summit.

A very enjoyable climb on a very good quality route. A bit crowded though, and as a result prone to falling stones (sometimes big ones...). Start out early.
After we climbed the Steinerweg in a party with Kiss Péter and after a bad night, second in a raw with little sleep (we woke up at 3.30 A.M.) I felt to week to go for Maixkante so I decided to take a day to "relax".
I woke up a little "later" around 5.45 and I went for "Der Johann" and did it in 3 hours. Nice view to the route I did the day before: Steinerweg. (I saw a party too low, too late in the wall. And at the end of the day, around 6 PM unfortunately the helicopter rescued them just before the cold front closed in, with heavy thunderstorm.)
The route is nice, exposed and with amazing view.
Then I spent 2 hours at the hut, on the glacier relaxing. Just another perfect day. I am so grateful.

Nice tripNice trip, the most difficult part is the overhang at the beginning, we had very hot weather and not enough water with us.
