Great Hike and Views on a Hot August Day
I elected to take the side trail to the Jones Mt PATC cabin along the way. The views at Bear Church Rock rival the better ones in Shenandoah National Park. This is a fun hike to combine with nearby Bluff Mt when the conditions are better for bushwacking.

A Jones for Bluff Mountain
My first time was on a cold, windy day in December 2015. My second time was on a warm, sunny day in April 2016. Both times I also made a side trip to the summit of Bluff Mountain.
Done it a number of times from Graves' Mill and the Staunton River Trail. Lots of interesting trails in the area provide great hike route possibilities that can include Jones Mountian.

Bear Church RockClimbed this with my brother. Beautiful views of the Staunton River along the way, as well as a great view from the rocks.
