You should jump on a plane and climb Mt. Bierstadt with us next weekend at the annual SP Winter Gathering.

It would be nice if you could add a route for the trail, describing distance and difficulty(est time). Also I don't know if you have any, but a picture of the mountain itself would be nice. Good start.

Winter

Jordan Peak's North face is a great spot for late-season (April/May) backcountry skiing via the Redwood Rd approach Sequoia lists. About 3.5 or 4 miles, 1.5 - 2 hours up.

Catwalk closed until further notice

As of 2019, it's been closed due to damage from winter storms.
