(R) Yakhchal 4194 m, (L) Koheno 4082 m. Behind Yakhchal you can see Koloon Bastak 4156 m and behind that Tochal 3964 m. The city of Tehran sits on the other side of Mt. Tochal. Behind Koheno, Nosom Boyder 3971 m

Tochal !

Sometimes I wonder Tochal is taller then it sounds! It can even be seen from here! when I was looking to it from Kooloon peak, it looked as tall as Kooloon, when I'm on it I feel taller than the 4000's north to it... maybe this Tochal is the most viewable peak of Alborz ? you can see it miles away south, east, west of tehran...

I even saw it from a mountain I climbed near Lar Lake. The north face of it looks so pointy. From Tehran, it looks like a flat-top ridgeline but from the north you can see that its summit is really higher than the other parts.
