Quite the Challenge!
Parked at Pine Creek Parking Lot and headed Southwest through Juniper Canyon, which is just north of Rainbow Wall. Great views of the wall before heading north out of the canyon to a rather level pitstop where you can overlook Red Rock Conservation Area and scenic loop. Then it gets steeper on up to the top as you head west towards the peak. Just below the summit is a tricky class 3/4 maneuver through a tunnel/hole. Very fun and rewarding!

Not My Best Day Route Finding
Did not get to the top - at first I did not even get to the right canyon! I relied too much on some info that I may have misread and not enough on my common sense - and ended up scrambling a small canyon to the North.. Once in Juniper Canyon, I got right below the red rock '2 Turtles' and was skittish about scrambling through something I would have to downclimb alone and tired. Do not take this mountain lightly.

Ice & snow
Had to really work to bypass all the ice on the slabs below Brownstone!
The junipers are small, the pines are impressive!

Standard Route
Been up Juniper many times. This is often when I talk folks who are interested in hiking in Redrock. Has some fun scrambling but easy to follow path and not too strenuous.

Standarded
Fun scramble up heavily cairn marked limestone and then a chute to the top.
Late start...great roundtrip scramble through Juniper Canyon. No bighorn sightings...but great views of Rainbow and Brownstone Walls.

Gunsight Notch traverseDefinitely a fun trip with Bob From Gunsight Notch and peak. We explored routes to possibly get to Ramp Peak but only saw big air after Juniper.
