marc...I have seen a ton of Delicate Arch photos...normally I would be bored to death to see another...but....you have taken the most artistic Delicate Arch angle I have ever seen...and that would include a ton of so called professional photographers...I for one love this piece...good work. Cheers.

I wish I could still climb like you, and could take some of the most spectacular climbing shots like you have. The sad thing is that for thousands of routes I have climbed I have nothing to show and share. So, I guess I put all my talent into taking unusual photos.

Re: marc...well my friend, that is why you can imagine I force myself to carry a camera and stop once in awhile...I was the same way during some fantastic early climbing I had in my life...then I got injured and realized there was not a whole lot to look back to to prop up my memories...thus me becoming slightly anal about capturing my experiences with write ups and photos...now I plan on a weekly slide show at the old folks home! Something to put my comrades to sleep at night.

I look at both of your action shots on the computer screen and run to my chin up bar only to find out that my right should pops out of socket easily. But, I hold my breath and manage a few anyway. Then, I come back to the monitor again. Falling asleep?? LOL.. What a joke!!

Pretty cool Marc!I guess it's early morn. The first light on the snowy high desert terrain over against the glowing arch really makes it for me.

Re: Pretty cool Marc!Thank you Noondueler. Yes, it is the first sun on Delicate Arch. I took it the same morning as my other shadow photo.
It was very cold, 8F, but I was so excited and ran around for the best vantage points, I ended up taking off my jacket.
Crazy me, I must have taken 50 photos. Lots or repeats, not to worry, I will not post them all. I chose this shot out of a grouping of 8.

weather" today, and the humorous exchanges on
this photo brought a smile to my face.
Delicate Arch looked nothing like this when
I visited several years ago. Thanks for
