Mont Velan (3.734m) East-southeast Face.

Landscape from the fourth of Punte di Faceballa (about 3.330 meters), the Col and the rounded Saddle of Faceballa (3329m, about 3280 meters), with more in high and in the shade the Quota 3650 meters (the first and the last in high to the extreme left and at the end of Southern Ridge) .

To the right or East-southeast: the three Horns (3620m, the highest or Western, about 3615 meters, 3618m the others or Central & Eastern), five Toots (3595m, the tallest) and with just detached to the East-southeast the Little Velan's Tooth (about 3530/35 metres) , up the Testa d'Ariondet also Testa de Riondet (all these last by now completely in the shadow; 3.485 meters Kurz's Map) on the South-southeast border (Italy/Switzerland) watershed, up to the Mont Capucin (3390m) to the right edge or East-southeast and just before the Doigt (Finger; 3314m; in the extreme margin) du Velan also Doigt du V'lan.
