Mother of Mountains...

Its natural beauty and form
surpass many of the world's
prominent mountains. The light
of the seasons cast their shadows
in a never-ending display of
drama, just like the mountain
itself was a (living) goddess.

Re: Mother of Mountains...

Thanks for your comments and nice words to my K2 photo. The K-2 is king of the all mountains. It is an Mighty, Handsome and unforgiving mountain. Where the tides of the Tethya Sea once ebbed and flowed, now K-2, of all the world's mountains second only to Everest, shreds the jet stream at 28250 feet. At its foot stretches another wonder of the world, Concordia: a rippling, pitted, pockmarked river of ice, where great glacier slide and slither togather before separating to go their different ways. Like a proscenium, Concordia is the main stage of natural amphitheatre that has not equal. Thanks for your kind comments and yes, K-2 is King of the Mountains not the mother of the mountains.
Best regards, Afzal
