The last peak on a long day
I started the day by hiking up the Schrotthorn, and from there I followed the ridge south over Gaishorn, Plankenhorn and Lorenzispitze. This route wasn't signed, but at times there was a (mostly faint) trail and there were occasional cairns.
Shortly before the Lorenzispitze the ridge started turning west. I followed it a bit longer, but when it got too tiresome I decided to drop down to the easy marked hiking trail a bit further south, which I then followed without any problems to the Königsangerspitze. After a break at the Radlseehütte, I descended to Brixen, but in the woodlands the actual trails did not match up with those on my map and route signs were scarse, so I ended up approaching Brixen well south of where I wanted to be, which added another hour or so to my already long day.

Those damn trees
The climb of Königsangerspitze stays in my memory as one of the climbs where we barely saw anything due to the trees we had to climb through. Only on top did we have views, though the weather was far from perfect. Nice views of the Sarntal Alps and the Dolomites
