K Spire near Little Tahoma

K Spire near Little Tahoma

Taken from Ingraham Camp, the high point on Little Tahoma looked impressive as it stood up above the surrounding landscapes. By the way this is not the summit of Little Tahoma, but is north of it.

Impressive

Great lighting in this shot Josh. I think the description is a little confusing though. At first I thought this was Little Tahoma. Where is this point located? Is it below Little Tahoma? To the south or east perhaps?

Re: Impressive

The high point is north of Little Tahoma. I said in the title off Little Tahoma because it was not on the summit area. On topo maps it shows up as a random high point number, and that would make a boring title!

Re: Impressive

As you pointed out, you can see this high point on the far left side of this image. Thanks for showing me where it is.

Re: Impressive

After looking at more maps I'm 95% sure that this is K Spire which can be seen here. From below the valley on the way to the Emmons glacier it sure looks like a spire.

Re: Fantastic photo, Josh!!

Thanks Eric, I was a new member when I posted this. ;-) Plus new photo coverage wasn't as good back then, especially with how slow the site was when I posted this.
