What a pleasant ridge
Above the col known as Krošnjin prolaz I didn’t meet anybody. The hike included some YDS class 3 scrambling and was a pleasure, especially between the N summit (Maja Bals) and the main summit (Veliki vrh), despite the sun beating hard. It turned out Veliki vrh has two summits divided by a distinct col. Actually, after I set foot on the south one, for a long while I thought I had climbed the southernmost summit of the Karanfili massif, but that is further away. The views were panoramic and spectacular, especially towards Maja Jezercë with the amazing towers and spires of Šćokištes group in front.

From Grbaja through Krosnja
Painfully steep and beautiful climb after bivouacing in Grbaja through Krosnja with some scrambling moments, great scenery and views around the whole range, descent the same way. Plans for Ocnjak and other fantastic targets in that impressive area just awaiting the next visit!
P.S.
Summit log book on Northern Karanfili registers entries for over 10 years now!(time to change it for a new one, no more free space to sign it!)
