You write "from here to the summit of the Kaweah Queen is just a walk-up", but you probably mean "Mount Kaweah", since Kaweah Queen is on the other end of the ridge. Also, in my experience doing this traverse S-N, you can hit all the summits and stay near the ridge at no harder than maybe 5.2-5.4. The only "cheat" is to use the ledge from the Pyramidal-Koontz notch to tag Pyramidal via the standard NW 4th class route instead of going straight up the south/east side.
Beta incorporated- big ups yourself on that accomplishment! Sounds dirty & sketchy. You still calling CO home for right now?
Here is a report I wrote describing a backpacking trip I did in the Mineral King Area. We went on the trails needed to do the West side approach to the Kaweahs. It could be a good addition to the External Links on this page. Here is the report: https://backpackersreview.wordpress.com/trip-reports/sequoia-mineral-king/
this would be a great addition to the trip reports section, also the most appropriate place for it. It could certainly benefit users- thanks for posting!
