Perfect fall day
From Bench Creek, a 13.2 mile day hike, round trip. 2.5 hours from car to saddle, plus 1.5 from saddle to summit. Stayed right on the edge of the ridgeline the whole way. Cool avy chutes and rock formations. Three lakes along the way, with Kelly the most scenic. Smoke obscured the main Sawtooths from Halstead Fire at Cape Horn, great views though. This area has a wholly different character, and worthy of more exploration.

Good Ridge Run
Nice ridge traverse in a seldom climbed area. This high point has great views and is easily accessible
