From a historical perspective, this is one of the more important mountains to include on this site. It shouldn't all be about natural history. Although, any knowledge as to what rock the mountain is made of and/or why it is there?

The inclusion of this mountain, because it is perhaps the southernmost significant mountain in the Appalachians, is conincidental because desainme just the other day created a page for the northernmost "mountain" of the Appalachians: Percé Rock.

Interesting page. One minor suggestion: there are a few misspelled words that need to be fixed.

Hello from the other end of the Appalachians

Good to see a mountain with some history with it. Kennesaw "Mountain" Landis was from nearby Millville Ohio which is about 8 miles from here. Realtors say Location Location Location so does Topozone

Needs decimals Keep the negative W longitude. I think the following will work:

http://www.topozone.com/map.asp?lat=33.97611&lon=-84.57972

Good page. Mountain remind of Uncanoonac Mountain in Southern New Hampshire, Sugarloaf Mountain in Maryland, and the Blue Hills near Boston. Though each of mountains are small, they give great views of the cities nearby.

Nice, interesting page. Can it really get that cold in Atlanta that you wouldn't want to climb? I've always thought of Atlanta being a fairly warm town?

I like this page a lot, mainly because you have an idea of the mountain areas around Atlanta. Your page also gives the viewer a good idea of where the mountain is in relation to the city. I have been through Atlanta and climbed Brasstown Bald, but I do not remember all these hiking areas around the city. This page compels me to go back to the city and check it out. Excellent work!
