Very nice view!I may have to try this one next year as I plan on doing Glassford Peak anyway. Thanks for starting some info on the Boulders! (I live in Hailey)

Re: Very nice view! This is a great mountain to climb, you get a little bit of everything. I am also attempting to climb Glassford next year, but sure sounds like a tough approach.

Great Trip ReportI enjoyed reading it. Reminded me of our decision to "hike" down Passo de la Roa in the Dolomites - in normal conditions a zigzag through a 60° slope. Not in Sept 2001 though - the zigzag was ice covered and we didn't have anything but our hiking boots. Made it down however somehow, only to climb the even worse Forca Panna on the other side.
Happily nothing happened. You can see the pass and gully here behind me

Scary stuffMountains can be dangerous. I kind of like that feeling though, especially after it's all over.

Re: Scary stuffYeah, I was young and stupid when I did Kent, you know, just a teen hopping from mountain to mountain until I met my match...Since then Ive taken mountaineering classes and hope to never experience something like that again.....Though I agree, the danger can be such an adrenaline rush which gives you a nice feeling afterward.
