Re: Exc...Thank you Romek. This snake was right in the middle of the trail and was slow getting away from me. So, I took about six shots of it. This was probably the best shot of the series.

Re: wowAs it turns out king snakes are not venomous. But you have to be very careful because they look very similar to coral snakes that are very venomous.
Yeah, I have no doubt this king snake was looking for a queen snake, and the poor guy ran into me.

Re: Fantastic!!!!I agree. I had seen king snakes in this area before, but they always got away from me too fast. This guy was really mellow and took his time.
