The moon has risen over Kirant Chuli (Tent Peak), 7,365 meter / 24,160 feet. On the border between Nepal and Sikkim. The rubble covered Kangchenjunga Glacier flows down the valley towards Lhonak. November, 1998

Thanks very much Dow. One of those transient magic moments. The scene was behind me - we were heading down valley this day - so I kept looking back to see what developed as the moon rose.
