Kolob Creek - ZNP

Deep in the technical section of Kolob Canyon is this colorful section of the hike. You would rappel down that waterfall into the pool. I can't believe I was still shooting photos at this point in the trip.Kolob is a difficult canyon, but we did it with a lot of water flowing. Some canyons it makes them easier, but not Kolob. Soon we got worried about flash flooding and I had to put the camera away. Far too soon though! We ran face to face with a cougar and my camera was packed away in my backpack! Grrrrr!
