Gorgeous...

With what looks like plenty of exposure! Hope no one's a restless sleeper!

Thanks for sharing,

Re: Gorgeous...

Thank you for your comment! Overther you can sleep only with one eye! With the other you have to pay attention to your position inside the tent in order to avoid to fall down! Anyway the biggest problem is the altitude!

Many nice ones

Thanks for posting all these great photos from Pamir. It's a wonderful area which I may re-visit this season.
A question.
Is that tent a Vaude Space Explorer (or a RedFox copy)?
Curious as that's a model I've used a lot and I think it's a good tent.

Re: Many nice ones

Thank you for your comment. That tent was not my tent, and I don't remember its brand! During our ascension we used tents from Red Fox, that were very good.

Snow Leopard

I see you have many photos here from the Snow Leopard peaks. Have you completed the Snow Leopard Award?

Re: Snow Leopard

Hi,
I had the chance to visit all the 5 peaks of the Snow Leopard circuit, but I reached the summit only of Korjenevskaya Peak. Khan Tengri and Pobeda were too difficult for me, Somoni Peak was not in the right conditions (too hot and too much risk of avalanges, and Peak Lenin bad wether!

Re: Snow Leopard

Wow! Congrats on the effort! I'm planning to visit there in 2016 to attempt all five peaks in a single season. Any tips?

Re: Snow Leopard

Hi!
Thank you very much for kind comment! You have a really challenging plane! I know that a few peoples was able to achieve the Snow Leopard trophy in only one season! One of these people was the famous climber Denis Urubko that I met at the Inlycheck south base camp at the feet of Pobeda Peak. I can just to suggest you to try to climbe the 5 mountains in the following order for logistic and rising difficulties reasons: as first Lenin Peak, then Korjenevskaya Peak and Somoni Peak, and as last Khan Tengri and Pobeda Peak. I have also to say that the organization of transport from one base camp to the others is one of the key factor for the success, and you have to organize this in advance booking helicopters and cars.
Good luck for you great adventure!
Edoardo
