9 days from Saariselka
Outstanding arctic experience of the north-eastern Lapland's taiga wilderness. It took me 9 days to reach Korvatunturi(both Russian and Finnish culminations) hiking from Saariselka across Urho Kekkonen National Park area with the whole set of adventures and weather surprises, broken toe... not meeting a living soul on 112 km long way. In the end luckily evacuating myself from the wild back to civilization via Kemihaara. Great memories of the pure solitude and survival in the untouched, Far North landscape. Hope to be back somewhere there again very soon, most probably Ivalojoki-Lemmenjoki loop on skis in March. Totally losing head about those neverending horizons...

We hiked from Kemihaaran Loma, took some pictures and enjoyed the view.
