At a full-size image, one can see skiers traversing the slopes of the cutoff to then right. As in most years, I chose instead to drop a bit towards Painter Basin and to reascend the boulderfield to the rim of Anderson flats, and I don't think it costed me any extra time. Holding on to the steep crusts of the traditional cutoff route is just gnarly! 3/31/07
