Great photos and descriptions. This one's been on my bucket list ever since I rode that train. Your report moves it close to the top of the list!
Thanks for sharing it.
...for introducing me to this area with such stunning pictures. Greaat TR!
What spectacular photos, thanks so much and congratulations on an extraordinary effort. Having been there the photos were special.

Thanks for sharing.
Epic journey man. Well photo documented too, which is always a bonus. I ran into kevin and sarah last year early summer when we tried to attempt cathedral in the elks, but we turned back because the couliour was too dicey. There was snow and we got there early but rocks were coming down. So we turned back and went up electric peak instead. I enjoyed there company as well. Im very jealous of this trip as these have been on the list for awhile.
Nice! Yeah they are great to get out with. Thanks for the comment!
Thanks so much for a great report and outstanding photography. What types of cameras were you using and how did the batteries hold out for a long trip?
I have a Panasonic Lumix point and shoot and I know Sarah and Kevin also carried point and shoots. No SLRs, so the batteries lasted for the entire trip with ease and then some.
For the kind comments all! For those wanting to head back there, it is an unbelievable basin, definitely put it on the bucket list!
