yepPink Lady's-Slipper, Cypripedium Acaule. It's not too common in New York ("exploitably vulnerable" according to the USDA).

CoolThanks for the post. I remember these as a kid in Northern NJ, I didn't know they weren't common in New York. This particular island is covered with hundreds of them every year.
