...for adding now a really nice close-up of Laila Peak to please us :o) That's what I call fast reaction...
:-)) thanks to you too.
As soon as I read you message...I found the Laila Peak page and.....I Immedialtely add this picture...:-)
A very elegant peak.
What an incredible mountain! Thanks for sharing.
that is a great pic.
...two of my friends almost skied the peak?
They made it to about a 100m from the summit, but had to give up because of bad ice/snow conditions. From there they skied down.
I'm not a good skier, so I can't really judge, but it looks like a very steep ski run to me.
wow....100m meter from summit!! Congratulations to your friends!! I'm not sure I could find the courage to sky down....:-)) probably not:-) you are right..it seems very steep..
I'm definately climbing this peak in the next five years!!! And that isn't just talk. You've got close enough with this photo Marco to show that the quality of the granite looks very good as with many of the peaks in this area.
Have you got anymore pictures of the Gondogoro Valley by the way? My photos aren't great as it was overcast for much of the time I was there.
I'm glade for this "inspiration"... I hope you'll reach your objective!!
Yes..I have some other picture I'll put by next days. (I just have to find the time) I have been lucky, for some days the wheather was perfect, monsoon tail was passed some days before.
Beautiful peak and a great photo.
And very beautiful photo, too!!!
Thanks a lot.
And to all for the nice and kind comment.
